Galaxy A5 2017 unstable home Wifi connection

hey there, did anyone ever experience it? i got my galaxy a5 2017 6 months ago, working flawless. 2 weeks ago it doesn't automatically recognize the home wifi. i have to press the home button from time to time to notice the missed calls and/or messages. i reset the wifi modem, no change. any idea? thanks!!

Did you try to reset all network settings as well?

Sorry but didn't workout. i did it tuesday afternoon. went out yesterday and came back. no messages came up once i got back home.

That's definitely odd. Have you tried to do a factory reset of your phone? 

If this is due to a software glitch, it should do the trick.
