I placed an order online for Samsung S24 fe on dec 18th. It was an in store pick-up order and on 27dec received a ready to pick up order. When i went to the store on 28th dec they were not able to process to order and i was told that there is some technical problem and i need to contact customer service.
While on chat with one of the representatives i was informed that the order is cancelled and will have to place a new order. When i previously placed the order i got the following price
phone price - $5
plan price- $30 after auto deposit discount.
now when i was placing the new order the plan prices have gone up to starting at 53$ after auto deposit discount.
so i was told to call customer service or go back to store to have the prices with my first order.
Now next day went to the store and they had the same problem and was told that i will have to call customer service to get the discounted prices.
So called customer service today and after wasting 1hr and 13 minutes on phone i was informed that the previous price you got was by mistake and that is why my order got cancelled and i will not be able to get those prices back.The new prices he offered me was almost double my previos order and the guy was offering to take off 70$ activation fees and j was like for online orders it already waived its nothing special.
So its no my fault that i got those reduced prices at the first place , it was problem at fido's end and they should have honoured the order once it has gone through.
I am with fido since past 6 years and they lost a customer today.
