Different information from rep and website.

Hello everybody,

I'm a Fido customer and I've been looking around for promos this Black Friday as I want to upgrade the plans and phones on both my numbers. Apparently I'm eligible for an "exclusive" XL plan and here is when a misinformation problem occurs.

I've contacted reps through Messenger to ask if I'm eligible for the 200$ credit if I upgrade online. The response is that I'm not eligible since this promo is only for regular market plans and it doesn't apply to the exclusive plan that has been offered to me.

Out of curiosity I tried to upgrade online, without completing the order though, and when I chose the exclusive plan and the phone that I like it says that I'm getting the 200$ credit.

Can someone tell me for sure what is going on because the fact that reps and the website don't agree is a little funny to say the least.

Thank you,

Alex

Hello @Alekspara

The rep is correct, the $200 bill credit is only for in-market plans and not for exclusive offers. You should get an error message at the end of the buying flow if you click on continue.

Hope this clarifies!
