Data not working after Global SIM - Software issue 'Not Subscribed'

Hey, I recently used a Global SIM card when I was away on vacation. I went to use my FIDO SIM card but my data isnt working. My texting and calls work but when I use safari it says I am not subscribed to a cellular provider even though I am and everything worked fine before. So far no luck with FIDO suggestions so looking for other suggestions.

Would it have to do with my APN? Here is what I have done so far:

Reset Network Settings

Restored and Backed Up Phone

Took out Sim and reinstalled (not a SIM issue but a software issue)

Reset by holding down power button and home screen

 

Any advice will help! Thank you

This would seem like an unusual situation. Did you get a chance to check that the APN settings are still the ones found here

Hi @FidoPierre, I checked that website but it doesnt see anything about APN for an iPhone only Android. In terms of activating it, it is the same SIM I have used for over a year and a half and nothing prompted me to reinstall. It is a FIDO SIM and a Fido bought phone (unlocked).

With iOS devices, the setup for the APN settings is automatic. It's possible to check what are the settings for the APN on your device, the path will vary from one model to another.

You've done the first troubleshooting steps, let's try something else!

 

To remove a configuration profile in iOS:

 

                 1. On your iOS device, open Settings > General. 

 

                 2. Scroll to the bottom and open Profiles.

 

                 3. In the "Profiles" section, select the profile you wish to remove and tap Delete Profile.

 

Let us know if that works for you.

Oops forgot to write that down aswell. We tried that and there were no profiles presented so couldnt delete.
