Data being used fast

Hi guys. Im a new member with fido one week ago. 

I subscribe to 2GB with Iphone 11. Total is $60 per month ($35 for data plan)

I don't use it much but why is my GB running out so fast? In less than a week but I lost more than 1GB. 
I mostly use wifi more. Because I rarely go out, but I don't understand why my data is running out so quickly within 5 days? Can you help me understand better?

iPhones are known to use data even when on WiFi, you can also check if Wi-Fi Assist is enabled and disable that go to Settings > Cellular or Settings > Mobile Data. Then scroll down and tap the slider for Wi-Fi Assist.
