Curve 9300 dead phone

My curve started by shutting down during use, then within a cpl wks it just died. When I plug it in the battery symbol comes up with red x; I've replaced the battery and that didn't solve the problem. I found 'how to' videos to reinstall os followed the instructions and same battery symbol. What is wrong with the device? Any HELP me please!!

Sorry to hear about your phone. 

 

Sounds like you have already done the troubleshooting that can be done on your own. At this point, I would suggest bringing the phone to a Fido store to see about having it repaired or exchanged. Since the phone was released under a year ago, it will still be covered by warranty (assuming you purchased it from Fido). To find the closest stores, click here
