I understand that ordering an iPhone 15pro may take some time, it has been out for a year though; the iPhone 16 is on preorder now and I can't get any status on the iPhone 15 pro I ordered on August 30th. Why can't Fido give you even an estimated time for delivery? It did mention on the site if the device you ordered was on back order they would 'let you know estimated time for delivery' but there is nothing on my order saying that. Why can't you just be honest with your customers and even send out weekly updates? If I was 500th in line, I would like to know these things in advance. People have lives and are dependent that businesses will be forthcoming, especially with items that cost thousands of dollars. I have been with Fido since 2016? And this is the first time I've ordered hardware online, to say I'm disappointed in the customer service is an understatement. Looking at these forums though I now see I'm not the only customer unsatisfied with long wait times and no info on the 'current status' of my order. I really hope someone at Fido actually sees this and I'm not just ranting to empty space.

@FatKat Did you get your iPhone 15 yet? I'm having same problem, I placed order for iPhone 15 (pink) on Sept 21st and it's Oct 11th now and my order is still showing "In Progress". Fido then told me it was on backorder due to no stock and wait would be around 4-6 weeks. This is so ridiculous.

Hi
still no phone, sorry you have to go through the same thing! Why can't they let people know there is a back order on items they purchase, before they're purchased?? It's been over 5 weeks since I ordered that phone and customer service could not give me any clue for when the back order could be filled. Shouldn't there be some sort of rebate for waiting so long when there was NO indication there would be any wait of any kind?? Rogers/Fido is a multimillion dollar company that can't fulfill their obligations to their customers and won't admit it.
I'm sure I could go to Walmart and if they didn't have the phone I wanted, they would tell me in advance. It just seems like the absolute worst customer service. I felt so sorry for the busy mom with the screaming kids in the background working Fido customer service who tried to find out about my order, she couldn't give me any new details, I know she did her best. The phone calls to customer service are recorded, Fido can hear it for themselves. Absolutely ridiculous
I will be going to the Rogers store in my neighborhood and vent to them next, but I know they won't tell me anything different, heaven forbid they admit their incompetence

It has now been one month since I've ordered the iPhone 15 pro. I ordered it thinking I would at least be given a time frame of when it would arrive, just one note in one entire month saying the phone is on back order
but for how long??

Thank you for your response
I just called customer service, and they gave me the same answer as the back order notification I got on September 6th: No answer. Just that it's on back order still and I will get an email when it is shipped. I spent half an hour on the phone to get zero answers from a poor lady doing customer service from her house with her kids screaming in the background. Just absolutely ridiculous.

Hi. Did you get your order yet? I ordered mine 24th of August. Just called and told me to wait 1-2 weeks and there's no assurance. Like wth. They're unbelievable

Nope, no notification of anything yet. It's almost been a month!

jeez this is really disappointing to hear, this means my iPhone 16 pro might take for ever to come through, it's very disappointing to be honest

Hey, Did you get your 16 pro ?
September
It's one of the reasons I thought I would get an IPhone 15 pro much faster than an iPhone 16, but maybe if you're pre-ordered, you'll be ahead of the curve? I'm running out of patience, promised my daughter she could have my old phone but for when? At this rate it's going to be Christmas!
