Auxiliary port/headphone jack

I have take my phone to couple different phone medics( that's what they call thereselves) to get them to check out the problem I'm having. They have never herd or seen this.

My auxiliary port does not work when I hook up a cord to it.. I have tried many different cords so I know its not the cord. Cords work for other phones. But when I hook up a pair of headphones they work.

I have full warranty on my phone is this problem fixable?

  Are you sure the cords have the proper compatible plugs (see here)? I understand the cords may work in other devices, however, they might be incompatible with your phone.

The headphones you are using is it wired?

What cord are you using that is not working?

Can you let us know the make and model of the phone?
