using my Fido s6 in Europe with, perhaps, local (EU) SIMs

traveling pretty often to EU would be nice to use my Samsung 6 there. I know that if it is unlocked this may be possible. what will be the whole drill? many thanks.

If you bought the phone from fido, it is locked, you need to pay 50$ for unlocking, and that device must have been registered in your account more than 90 days ago if you got the device with an agreement.

You can also unlock the device at your destination for a fee, of course. In most cases, you`ll have to wait 5-10 minutes untill its done. If you also decide to get a SIM card at the same time, you may even get a discout on the whole thing.
