When I went back to my country, I used the data. I got a message said: "you've got Fido Roam with your plan. so go ahead and use your data, talk and text from your plan in 100+ destinations for just $12/day(+taxes)." I could use my original data too. But when I back to Canada, I got $177 bill. I am unfortunate. I thought if I did not use talk and text, I could not pay $12 every day.

Welcome to the Community!

Fido Roam allows you to use the data, talk time and texts from your monthly plan when out of the country. For International, it will charge you $12 for 24h of usage and only on the days you use your device.

You will only be charged $12 on the days your device uses mobile data (if you do not use talk and text). If you got a $177 bill, it could mean that data was used for more than 10 days.
