just get an usa sim,

 then either call forward fido number to usa number

or write on your social media your usa number.

and take out your fido sim, use the usa sim card.

  Welcome to the community!

  Fido does not have any plans with US based calls and related roaming fees, all-inclusive per month. The only options to roam in the US are Fido Roam and pay-per-use (see here). If you wish to roam using the pay-per-use rates, you will have to contact customer service to opt-out of Fido Roam.

  Alternatively, switching SIMs can be an option for some people.
