if i change my phone number can i forward my old number

Hi we will be moving shortly from AB to ON, and i will be changing my number online to a new local number. Is there a way to forward calls people make to my old number to my new number (temporarily even)?

To answer your question, that's not possible. Once your phone number is changed, your old phone number will become inactive. Anyone calling it will get a message confirming this.
