I am trying to get my voicemail greeting back to default where it says "You've reached 604-xxx-xxxx" on one of my lines.
I had my voicemail reset 3 times.
there is no way to not save a signature
you can chose not to save a personal greeting though.
the voicemail setup wont save just my password and complete. i have to set a signature or it wont save.
after that there is no setting to not play the signature.
i have spent a couple hours on this trying to figure it out.
i even had a fido answers guy listen in on speaker phone while i tried and followed his instructions.
i have another fido account with 3 lines and all 3 there can go back to default but this one can't
this guy on howardforums has the same problem

i suspect it is a mini voicemail thing?

There is no way to get the voicemail to have a default automated greeting if you have "mini-voicemail".
Only regular voicemail has that feature.
With mini-voicemail you have to record at least a signature and then save it.
So if you have mini-voicemail then you are out of luck.
Kind of silly...

Please note that I have already had it reset a couple times.

Hey qqqq,
I'm sorry about the misunderstanding.
When it comes to the mini voicemail, there is unfortunately no way to bypass the voice signature. You can register a basic message yourself like the default one you are used to, but if you don't want to do the original set up every time you access the voicemaill, you will record a signature.
I hope this clarifies.
