eSIM swap with former physical SIM card

Hi Everyone,

I've successfully swaped my SIM to an eSIM in store a while ago but now I'd like to go back to a physical SIM card.

I thought I could reuse my old SIM card since I didn't change my phone number (I know that changing phone numbers would have void the SIM card for good) but when I try online it says I can no longer use my former SIM card.

Can someone please confirm that my old SIM card is burned for good? Once again, the phone number with which it was associated didn't change.

When you change your SIM card, your previous one (whether physical or eSIM) gets deactivated and cannot be reactivated, so you would need to get a new SIM card if you want to go back to a physical one.
