Hello All,
So I've been banging my head on this for a while now.
I switched over from Rogers to Fido with my unlocked phone, A Huawei Mediapad X2 (GEM-703L)
On Fido I can access internet just fine but can't send/recieve MMS messages.
I've tried a bunch of settings including the offical Fido recommendations from here (http://www.fido.ca/consumer/content/configure-unlocked-device-guide).
Currently got this:
APN: LTEMOBILE.APN
MMSC: http://mms.fido.ca
MMS Proxy: 205.151.11.13
MMS Port: 80
Proxy, Port, User Name, Password, Server left blank
APN Type: default,mms
When I tried the non-LTE settings it broke the internet connectivity.
Any suggestions? Been bombing through the internet and no luck so far.
Thanks for your time folks.
Best regards,

Huzzah! Success
Reset the phone to factory settings, re-entered the Fido APN settings (LTE) as per directions (Added APN Type default, mms) and now can get MMS messages
Thanks a bunch, now I'm off to re-download some stuff and futz with phone settings.
Woot!
Hello and thanks
When I try and send it just keeps saying "Sending" and does not complete.
When receiving, it says "Couldn't download message"
WiFi is Turned Off and Cellular Data is On (enabled).
Just tried with WiFi On and same issue.
Best regards,

Turned off WiFi, sent myself a text (success) then tried to send a MMS (cat picture).
Sadly, it just sits there saying Sending . . .
Tried with Non-LTE setting and no internet, same issues with MMS.
Switched phone to 3G bands and Internet works, no change in MMS functionality.
I do get that with an unlocked phone there might be issues, that's on me.
What I don't get is why the same phone worked with Rogers and now with Fido there are issues.
Thanks again for all the help, it is appreciated.
Should I just give up on this phone with MMS and Fido?
Will try a factory reset after backing up all my data/apps.
Fingers crossed

Woot!
I had the exact same issue, the key for me was to change the APN type to 'default, mms' instead of just 'default'.
Have to say you Mod's were very helpful, thank you!
Been a Fido customer ever since you came to town (Edmonton), glad I'm still with the Company.
