Hi Everyone,
I have these issue for a while now and it seems like knowone can solve.
Lately (started 2-3 months ago) every time I call or text to a number in europe my number showing on the other end is NOT mine resulting on people not picking up the call. Instead of my number they see a number from another european country. I called Fido tech support....they blame the europeans.....my friends and family in europe called the local carriers....of course they blame Fido.
Anyone with the same issue or any suggestions on why this issue persist?

Welcome to the community!
When making an international call, some countries charge extra for calls that originate outside the country. Some carriers route calls so that they appear to be local calls, so that the billing is at a lower rate.
While I get the inconvenience of the situation, there is currently no known solution for this situation. I did do a quick online research to find out this is a known issue amongst different carriers, with no resolution in sight for the time being.

Hi. I have been facing the similar issue. Whenever I try to call someone whether it is out of Canada or within Canada it is showing that it is a wrong number. Also when I'm adding the country code, it is still showing wrong number and also for the toll free numbers it is not working. Kindly help

The problem get solved . I just removed the sim card amd then again after some time I put it back in the slot .It starts working.
