Which SIM card to use

Hello,

I recently choose the option to upgrade my phone after my previous 2 year plan. I received the new phone with a SIM card with it. However, when i insert it, it doesn't seem to work.

Furthermore, it appears that my old SIM card is still active on my old phone?

Is it because i paid the fees for the month and after the cycle, the old SIM card will expire and the new one will work? Or i do have to use my old SIM card on my new phone?

Welcome to the community!

  If your old SIM fits in your new phone, you can go ahead and use your old SIM. The new SIM is provided with new devices in case a customer's old SIM does not fit in their new phone. In those cases, they would need to update their account with the new SIM number. Since you are able to use your old SIM, you are good to go! You can keep the new SIM in case you need to update your SIM in the future.
