Upgrading Phone and Pan

Hi, 

My 2-year contract gets over in July. My device Balance shows Zero now. I was planning to upgrade my Phone along with a change in plan. My question is:

a, If I get a phone online today, when can I start using my new phone with the changed plan. 

b, How can I get the old phone unblocked?

As for your old device, if it was purchased after December 1st 2017, it should already be unlocked. You can test that simply by inserting a non-Fido SIM card in it. Alternatively, you can reach out to us at these channels and we'll be happy to look into it.
