Upgrade phone and keep existing plan - will my monthly discount be kept?

I'm looking to upgrade my phone and I have the option to keep existing plan. My current plan contains a monthly discount of $10. If I choose to keep my existing plan when updating my device, will the monthly discount stay on my account?

Welcome to the community and happy new year!

Yes, since you will not be changing the plan everything stays the same including the discount. Discounts and promotions only gets taken off if you change the plan.
