Unable to make long distance calls to India

Hi,

I have 1000 minutes free long distance calling as an Add-on feature on my Fido post paid account (24 month contract). While I am able to make calls to the US, when I dial any India number I get a message that says - "International calling is not available". For calling US numbers, I am being charged rather than this being included in 1000 free minutes. I have spoken with Fido customer care, backend and technical suppport multiple times but they have failed to root cause the issue. Has someone faced this issue? I am looking for a plausible solution

You should note the 1000 international minutes are only for the following countries.

Australia,

Bangladesh

China (including Macau)

Germany

Hong Kong

India,

Italy 

Mexico

Taiwan 

United Kingdom

If you make calls to the US you will be charged, in regards to the calls not going through to India was it working before? Maybe your phone is set to block outgoing international calls?
