Swap eSIM between two devices.

I have two devices.  Let's call them A and B.  A is my daily driver and B is my travel phone.  A has a physical SIM and when I travel, I remove it from A and insert it into B.  Works fine.  Is doing this sort of SIM swapping between two devices possible with an eSIM?  Such a capability would alleviate me having to remove the cases from the phones in order to swap the physical SIM card.

To transfer an eSIM between 2 different devices, you can simply follow these few steps from Fido.ca here.

Make sure you have the device you’d like to activate the eSIM on with you when using the steps below.

1. Sign in to your My Account App.
2. From the Phone tab, select Change SIM.
3. Click on the phone number that you wish to switch to eSIM. We’ll send a verification code to this number.
4. Enter the verification code you received and select Confirm code.
5. Select Transfer to another device. A QR code will be generated.
6. Scan the QR code using the device you want to switch to eSIM. Follow the instructions that appear to install eSIM on the device.
7. Once complete, tap the toggle beside I’ve successfully scanned the QR code with my other device.
8. Review the details that appear then click Submit.
9. A message will appear confirming that you wish to continue. Select Submit to switch to eSIM.
10. A confirmation will appear to let you know that your SIM has been changed. Restart your device to activate your eSIM.

What are the steps for iPad to iPad - eSim? 

Specifically because you cannot recieve a text to verify.
