I use an iPhone 10 and very, very, rarely go over my monthly data limit.
Reently, one day into my monthly cycle, I got a text saying I'd used up 75% of my data.
One minute later, I got another text saying I'd used 90%.
And one minute after that, I got another saying my data was 100% used up.
I was on wifi at home, so any apps would not have used any data.
There have been no system upgrades, no apple software updates.
Today my partner's phone did exactly the same thing.
What is going on?
Fido customer service were not able to help - they blame Apple. Apple blames Fido. And now I'm stuck without data.

Thanks, Phillippe!
My phone uses iOS 15.4.1.
Wi-fi assist is turned off.
Yes, I checked my data app usage on the phone and there were no obvious app data surges. From an average daily usage of around 200MB per day, within the space of a few minutes on April 29, 3.6 GB disappeared.

Hi @liffy1969 , we're you able to resolve the issue with technical support? You can reach them by dialing *611 from your device.

I have tried, and the technical support person I spoke to was no help whatsoever.
First time I have ever been disappointed with Fido customer service in nearly 20 years of being a customer.

Hey @liffy1969! Philippe here. I hope you're doing well.
I'll be happy to help you with your data usage. I'll need to ask you a few questions to do that though:
1. What's the IOS version on your iPhone 10 right now?
2. Are you using the Wi-Fi assist feature on your phone?
3. Have you checked you app data usage in your phone settings?
Thanks!
