Someone’s phone number is being routed to mine

Hi Folks!

for the past week I’ve been receiving various calls from people looking for someone.  They’re all surprised to hear that I’ve had my number for 10+ years.  One caller tried to confirm the number with me, and the number they give me is not even close to what mine is. Could the schmo have accidentally forwarded all their calls to me? Wouldn’t they have realized that they have no calls? Is there anything fido can do?

I’ve not been answering calls now if I don’t recognize the number and even changed my voicemail message to state my

phone number.  Unfortunately I don’t think it’s much help since the majority of people that were calling didn’t speak English....

You'd better go contact with a moderator or go contact with Fido Solution on Twitter or Facebook Messager. https://twitter.com/FidoSolutions or https://fb.com/msg/fidomobile  If the area code belongs to Canada, probably there is something wrong with your phone number. But if the numbers are not, there is a high percentage of those are spam calls.

Thanks Richieeee, I’ll give them a cal tomorrow morning.  The numbers are in the GTA sometimes 705.  They’re all trying to reach “Ming” so I think something’s up.  I don’t know why they don’t listen to my voicemail message lol
