Seriously bad customer service experience

I called fido representative to change my plan. Took about an hour and half for the entire ordeal to wait for approval. At the end of the call they said they were able to change the plan to $34 dollars for 50gb of data. They just said "OK its done" and then hung up. Today I received an email that they instead "changed" my plan to exactly what I had with a discount that lasts 24 months. Firstly this was not communicated in our call but most importantly the amount of data was not changed.


I called fido again today and spent another hour and a half and basically said nothing can be done. No apologies or anything about the miscommunication. Super upsetting. This is awful customer service. I've bee a fido customer for more than 15 years and there's no sense of customer loyalty.
