I got a call today from mobile number 4037722470 saying that it was a 'Rogers Fido' promotional offer, which sounded off to me. The guy mentioned about 30% off on monthly bill. And he offered phone upgradation. He told that his name was James. And he shared his employee id as 103 and his mobile number as 82589591756. I don't know why a mobile number has 11 numbers in it.

I have him my name and my email email address. The guy later sent me an email from Email ID 'fido.community@rci.rogers.com'.

None of this look right to me.

Hi @Naveensrijan , you are absolutely right. If it sounds to good to be true, it usually is. You can check your account on fido.ca or by using the app to verify any offers that might be there for you. You can also call in by dialing *611 and ask a support person if this is real. Good to be suspicious of incidents like that.
