Firstly, you should note these forums are community-driven and not intended as a venue for customer services. We do not have access to customers' accounts and would not have information regarding all of Fido's promotions.
That said, I would consider those calls to be highly suspect as a SCAM. Unfortunately, there have been a rash of SCAM callers of late claiming to be from Fido (see here). As I mentioned in that reply, there is no real need for Fido locations from two Provinces to contact customers. Similar to the other post, none of the Fido stores in Toronto appear to have that number listed as their contact phone number (see here). As well, a Google search of the numbers also does not identify them as belonging to Fido.
If you would like to verify whether there are any promotions available to your line, you would need to contact customer service. In addition, they can also be contacted via Live Chat, Facebook, or Twitter. Those methods can be accessed via the contact page posted above.
