Firstly, you should note that the fee for contacting customer service is only for certain assistances which can be done ourselves via My Account or through self-serve:

Adding a temporary suspension is not something we can do for ourselves. You would need to contact customer service to have them setup the temporary suspension. Alternatively, you might consider sending @FidoSolutions a PM. Once they verify some information, they'll also be able to access your account.
You should also note that there are certain conditions which need to be met in order to be eligible for the suspension (see here).
