Assuming this message linking you to a site to obtain your outage refund is a scam as surely this would be direct to account. Perhaps a warning message should be sent out?

Today my wife received a wopping $4.03 credit for Fido July 08/12 outage. If anything, this is more of an insult. SHAME ON FIDO!

As mentionned previously, the credit we were applying was for 5 days of service, which can vary depending on the cost of one's plan.

That is definitely a scam, Rogers has publically announced that they will credit 5 days of service automatically to each line.
