Hi Team, I am out of Canada and I do not have any use of my Canada's number all this time so I made sure to put it on flight mode. By mistake today I happened to click on airplane mode due to which airplane mode got off which I instantly turned on again to avoid any roaming. Although the airplane mode was turned on for few seconds but I put my phone back on airplane mode as soon as I realized. Following all this I got a message from Fido that I have got Fido roam activated and my per day charge would be $14/day + tax. My question is when I do not need any services from Fido would I still be charged before mentioned amount for the time I am out of Canada ?

Hi there @RR02 , turning airplane mode off by mistake will not initiate any charges unless you make or return calls, text or use your data. The message is to let you know that you have roaming available to you for a flat fee per day rather than by the minute charges. Hope that answers your question. Happy travels
