Promotional Discount removed?

I was just told by FIDO that a promotional discount of 10% of my bill was removed from my bill after being with FIDO for 4 years!  How can they remove a discount?

We try to keep our prices as low as possible, but the costs of providing wireless services have gone up. We understand how important your wireless service is to you and sometimes we have to take a second look at prices so we can continue giving you quality services you’ve come to expect of us.

 

For your month-to-month services, we can adjust the price in accordance with our terms of service and let you know at least 30 days in advance.
