Problem with location and area code

All online applications shows that it's not a Canadian number. I don't know what can I do?

  Welcome to the community!


  If Fido provided your phone number, it would have been a Canadian phone number. However, it's possible it is a number with a relatively newer area code. You can verify your phone number as being Canadian using one of the Canadian area codes here.


  Unfortunately, there is not much a phone company can do if an application for something does not recognise the phone number, You might consider contacting the entity or institution to where you are applying and notify them of the issue. If they are not able to rectify the issue, you might also consider changing your phone number (see here).
