Porting Number of Lines Under Same account

Hi,

In the situation that I have 2 lines under the same account, would I be able to port over the number from one line onto the other line (and of course cancelling the ported-out line)?

Hello @kluuser,

 

Currently Fido will not be able to move one Fido number from one line to another, your only way to do it is you will have to port the number out from Fido then port it back in to the line you want it to go on. 

 

Another way will be If the plan on the line you want to keep is still available then you can just change the plan on the line with the number you want to keep and cancel the other.

As mentioned by @KAPABLE-K, you cannot port a Fido number onto another Fido number (switch them). Keep in mind though, that porting out your number will cancel any plan or services you have with us.

 

That being said, would you be able to provide more details on your situation to better assist you? A plan change or a telephone number change can usually do the trick.
