Poor reception in Etobicoke

I live near Centennial Park and have been a Fido customer for 6 years. I only get 2 bars in my home and on driveway and I was hoping that buying the iPhone 6s Plus would help but it hasn't. A lot of my calls go right to voicemail or dropped calls and people who call me say I'm going in and out with reception. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is your SIM card LTE and do you have lots of power lines in your area?

Have you notice anyone else friends/family having the same issue and are they on Fido or a different carrier?
