I got a call from 6473672099 where they claim that they are from Fido and they are offering a discount on my plan. However they asked how much I pay for my current plan, they thought that I have one line and they asked for my postal code. I have built enough suspicion when they asked for my apartment number. I told them that it looks like they are collecting info and hang up.
Did anyone had a similar experience?

It is possible that we ask you for your postal code to validate your ID, next to your date of birth, full name etc. If some information doesn't match, we can turn to other questions such as what was the amount of your latest bill. You did great in hanging up however if you were building suspicions! You can always contact us directly to see if any notes regarding this call are on your account.
