Not receiving texts till next day

Need help

when I text my boyfriend he doesn't get my texts till the next day. It's only happening to him. We can text on messenger but not sms. What's wrong

My sms hasn't been working well either...  About 40% of texts are being received and/or sent.  There's something defintetely going on with the network.

Everything should be up and running in regards to texting. Can you try restarting your phone and if this continues to happen let us know.

Is your boyfriend with Fido? What phones are you guys using?

I've heard of people having problems receiving SMS after switching from iPhone to an Andriod usually its because the person that was using the iPhone has to disable iMessage before moving to an Android phone.
