This community forum is driven by customers and not a form of customer service, since you already spoke to customer service and they assured you there are no blocks and did a reset and if you can receive calls here in Canada just fine then you should consider the problem is with the party in the US and not your phone.
You should also check your device to see if you blocked any numbers from the US.
