New Voicemail going directly to saved messages

Can someone please explain why my new voicemail messages are going directly to saved messages. I have not listened to them and have not received a text message regarding them and when I call my voicemail, it says no new messages. Instead, I had to listen to my saved messages to hear my new messages.

I have the exact same issue. All messages goes to the saved mssages

Can you please confirm that your phone's OS has been updated to the latest version? This generally includes the latest bug fix for your device.

Also, are you currently using the basic voicemail (up to 3 messages) with your Fido plan or do you have the iPhone visual voicemail as an add-on?
