My phone number with plan switch to my friend

One of my friends wants to take over my number with the rest of contract plan. What is the procedure with Fido? Where can I deal with? Call Fido or go to Fido store?

To complete a transfer of responsibility and transfer your phone number, plan and agreement (if applicable) you will have to contact us through one of our customer service channels, which you can find here. Smiley 


Your friend will need to contact us after you've given your authorization to transfer the number. 


Here are the additional points to mention: 

  1. You will remain responsible for the account until the Transfer of Responsibility is complete.
  2. Your authorization to transfer responsibility is valid for a period of 30 days.
  3. There is a 35$ fee that will be applied on the person taking the new ownership of your line. 

When your friend takes ownership of your line, we will have to do a credit evaluation to activate your friend's new monthly service.
