My number won't port over

I'm a Participant Level 1

My number won't port over



My Telus number won't port over to my new Fido iphone. I've talked to several Fido and Telus people about this, both on the phone and in person, but no one knows what's going on. Telus says there is no block on my number and I am well outside my contract with them, though the phone is still active. Fido's maps say they do service the area my telus number comes from. Can someone help?

  Welcome to the community!


  When did you have your number ported to Fido? While it usually takes about 2.5 hours to complete the port in, it can take up to a week (see here). Just make sure you don't cancel your Telus account before the porting completes. Have you contacted customer service to see if they have any more information?
