IDD Charges

I have been charged $29 for a call I did not make (16th of November 2019) to Guatemala. I have no one in this country. I would not use idd calls as we have modern apps such as whatsapp, Viber and etc. I do not wish to pay for service I did not use. I called the customer service and they kept transferring me for an hour. I have been a Fido customer for more than a decade this is the first time I have experienced something like this. Very disappointed. Please contact me and help me with the issue kindly. Thank you very much

We deeply appreciate your loyalty. Long Distance charges apply if the call is placed from your sim card/device and the call is connected to the long distance number. 

Is the long distance number, a number from which you've maybe received a call from in the past?
