Just signed up with a month to month plan, have a 500 credit limit on my account, question is this should I decide to sign a two year deal and get a new phone will I have to have another credit check done?

Once your line is active, there is no need for another credit check. However, if you decide to add more services in the future we will require one. The good news though, it will be a soft check as you already have a line active with us.
To clarify, your credit limit simply means that your account balance cannot exceed $500 (this also includes pending charges and unbilled usage). You can find more info here.
That said, since you've recently activated the service, there is a minimum wait period of 30 days. After that grace period you will be able to upgrade your phone.
