Lost my sim card

Hello! I lost my fido sim card accidentally. I had not even inserted it in my phone. I reported it stolen or lost and bought a new sim yesterday. However, I received a mail regarding bill. So, will I have to pay monthly bill twice (one for new and one for old)? Please help. I'm a newly arrived international student and this is an unpleasant situation for me.

Welcome to Canada and the Fido community!

 

No, you will not be billed twice because you got a new SIM card you will just be billed for your normal usage.

You should also note that not because you did not insert the SIM card into the phone means you are not being billed. All post-paid accounts are billed as per the plan every month regardless if you use the phone or not.
