Hi. I'm on a prepaid monthly plan and am interested in rates for incoming calls from Hong Kong.

a) What is Fido's international long distance preferred rate for Hong Kong?

b) Is it only available as a monthly add-on or can I just buy a one off for the days I'm expecting calls?

Thanks.

Hi,

is this "preferred intl plan" for just one destination or does it cover 180 countries? For instance, when I buy that add-on, can I call all 180 countries with discount rates?

Thank you.

Hello Yboylu35,

  Welcome to the community!

I'm not sure whether the Preferred International Long-distance rate add-on includes all 180 Countries, however, it does include more than just the one destination. You can check whether your desired Countr-y (-ies) is/are included, here (under View preferred international rates). Once you select a Country, it will provide the Preferred rate as well as the Standard rate (without the add-on).

Hope this helps Smiley

Cheers

Hello Suburb,

  Welcome to the community!

Firstly, there are no long-distance charges for incoming calls. All incoming calls, regardless of where they originate, only count against any airtime limits your plan may have.

For outgoing calls, this screen capture may help:

I believe it is only available as a monthly add-on. If you do not have the add-on, you can still place the calls under the pay-per-use rate.
