How to turn off voice mail on home line and block numbers?

I have a fido "SIM card + router" connected to home line. How can I turn off the voice mail since it conflicts with home alarm service. Also how can I block numbers?

To disable the voicemail you will need to contact customer support and they can do it for you.

When it comes to the Fido Home Phone, it is not possible to block specific numbers from calling you.
