How to register Modem(Amazon gift card)

How can I registered my Modem i just got so i can get the Amazon gift card. I was told to do so when i purchased it a few days ago. I forgot how to though. Does anyone know how ?

You will receive the registration email up to 6 weeks after your Order Confirmation date. You must provide us with a valid email address to receive their registration email. All you have to do is wait for the email!
