How to change account holder name and email

My number is registered under my friend's name and email but I want to change it back to mine. How do I do that? I have been trying to do the change online but it keeps coming up with an error.

Access to make changes on Fido.ca is limited when you are not account holder.

 

To confirm, you want to change the whole account holder's name to your name? Not simply the Caller ID name showing for your number?

If that is the case, there is a procedure to follow for this since we would create a new account in your name and then, transfer your number over.

 

- First, your friend would have to contact us to authorize you to take over the number.

 

- Then you would have to contact us for a credit check and to create your new account to complete the Transfer of Responsibility (TOR).
