How make dual sim work on LGG7 One?

The specs say the phone supports dual sim, and it has a slot for a second sim, but when you put two sims in it only seems to recognize one. I don't see any dual sim options in Settings. (I tested both sims individually, and they both work). It's running android Pie. I live in Ontario. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

  Where did  you purchase your phone? What version is your phone? As far as I can tell, the Canadian version (LMQ910UM) does not have dual-SIM functionality. I do not see it in the tech specifications on the LG Canada website, nor is it mentioned in the manual for the phone. The phone does appear to have a hybrid SIM-slot. Are you trying to use the memory card slot as a second SIM?

  Also, according to this member  from a different forum, the only dual-SIM appears to be the Korean version.

And ya, I was using the hybrid and slot.
