Home internet cancelled and fido FAILED to mail out my refund

Cancelled my internet with fido last week of April via phone, customer service lady was pleasent and helpful. Everything seemed to go well until I called today, June 10th, trying to check on the status of the refund since I waited over 6 weeks and that was supposed to be the max time I'd have to wait. On the call today I learned that they never even mailed out the refund so I will have to wait 7 days for a follow up and then an EXTRA 3 weeks before I can even get my money back from them if it even gets sent out this time. Today's lady was understanding and pleasent but it doesn't make up for the fact that this happened.

 

Ridicious that I'm expected to wait even more time instead of a direct deposit into my bank account considering their huge error in not even sending it out in the first place.
