Free extra gig of data text? Scam?

I just received a text offering me 1 free gig of data. Is this legit? Just wanted to make sure it's not some number spoof/scam before I click any links.

I know Fido has been handing out free data to select customers if you log in to your account on fido.ca you should be able to see the offer.
