Hi,
I ordered my number via phone from Fido. I was billed $45 for the first month on account of set-up charges.
However, the customer services representative said on phone that I wont be charged anything as it is a promotion.
Please advise?

Welcome to the community!
The only way the fee is waived is when you do it yourself online any other way will trigger the $45 fee.
Fido does have promotions where they will reimburse the fee which is usually reflected on your second or third invoice. If they did have such a promotion when you did yours and you do not see the fee credited back on your third invoice then you can contact customer service.
